Where does Steve Jennum rank....?

He ranks about 150 spots below Ken Shamrock.

all jokes aside (actually no keep 'em coming), you gotta respect any of those early guys for signing up to fight in a cage for little to no money and not really knowing what they were getting into

as to TS question...<Neil01>

Only American ninja to compete in and win a ufc so I say his contribution rightfully fades in a cloud of smoke. In and out like a true ninja.

His biggest accomplishment is to survive the most ruthless attack in the history of the UFC:

That wasn't Jennum. That was Howard's first opponent who got demolished. That's also potentially the best defense against an incoming calf kick I've ever seen (are you watching, Gaethje)?

Jennum had the easiest setup for a tournament win ever. Royce and Ken Shamrock both dropped out voluntarily (Ken after he heard about Royce dropping out decided there was no point). Kimo, who would've beaten anyone except those two, lost. Even Jennum's opponent had to fight someone else first, while "Ninja" Steve was fresh. Jennum does have the first arm bar win in UFC history, though...so there's that.
