What a night it was. November, 2013. Tides were turning. The main event gave us a glimpse of the future; old vet Georgie S. Pierre was up against young gun Johny "Hungry Eyes" Hendrix, and it didn't look good. Strong power shots and solid wrestling from Johny were making this a fight.

Many thought Johny won. But alas, the belt stayed with the battered champ.

So where are they now?!....






GSP actually retired and got into acting. After starring in about 1+1/2 movies he returned to an immediate title shot at MW against Michael Bisping, which he won!

Hendricks on the other hand has gone 3-6 since. He's developed an eatingeverything-disorder and was forced to move up to MW. There he was recently assaulted by a body builder after failing to find magical, weightless underwear.

I thought he won all 3 wars:
- GSP
- Lawler
- Lawler 2.

I was superly impressed with his movement, striking, mix-it-up - and all that practically without BJJ!!

Well TBH Hendricks was never that good IMO, the only decent wins he has came by decision and only finished people that weren't that good anyway.

He was overrated for sure through the high of his career.

The majority of people thought he beat GSP and Lawler twice. And knocking out Fitch and Kampmann at the time he did was spectacular.
