I haven't had one since about 1995, but back then they were the SH*T.

I graduated in 08 and that was probably the last time I had one.

They're cheap. Especially if you're not looking to drink a lot. It's not like people drink them to be cool or something.

I used to love drinking 40s of St Ides in HS... nom. I remember I would ditch class and go to this ghetto liquor store that sold them to me way overpriced, then I'd go to my house and drink them with my buddy in the backyard. When we finished a bottle, I would throw the bottle over my fence as far as I could, and wait for the sound of it breaking. I was such a little dick kid back then.

I used to live off of them. Getting a King Cobra for $1.29 was pocket change heaven. It has been about 8 years since my last tirade though.

When I was 22 I went to CVS and they had bottles of Thunderbird on sale for 24 cents a bottle. I bought out the whole stock(around 25+ bottles) and nearly killed myself over that month. Never again will I ever touch something so horrible.

Couldnt have said it better. I always laughed at the bros rolling around with budlight 40's like they were hard. Bud Ice is the lightest I would go. You gotta have the 40 mind set. Old E and Mickey's are a great start but I can drink KC all night.
