Thread title says it all.

When Jones and DC are both retired from fighting, who will have had a more successful career at heavyweight?

I wish that DC managed to clinch on that third Stipe fight. It was a close call but losing that fight sent DC into retirement and left a mark on him as being the 2nd best in both the LHW and HW divisions.

DC. He already had the UFC belt, a SF HWGP belt, KOTC HW championship, and some weird Aussie regional HW belt (with a defense against a name opponent), and was FOTY all over the place as a HW in 2018 after beating the best UFC HW. Idk that at this stage there is much Jones could really do to trump DC's HW accomplishments. There's not enough top tier competition left at HW for Jones to build a resume that would really wow anyone, and we don't know at this stage if Jones actually wins any fights at HW.

The first Stipe fight shouldn’t count anyway. He eyepoked Stipe which led to the KO

When both retire, who will have had more success catching passes in a Super Bowl -- Nick Foles or Tom Brady?

When both retire, who will have had more success playing in the #4 spot -- Michael Jordan or LeBron James?

Who was a greater mixed martial artist -- Antonio Aioki or Muhammad Ali?

Pretty fucking retarded question considering DC spent the majority of his career at HW so Jones would have to do quite a bit to simply catch up win wise. He has to win the title and defend it 1x, let alone DC's non-championship wins. It's likely not happening at this stage of Jones' career.

Which is why you didn't ask who has the greater career overall as that's already Jones and we don't have to wait till he's retired. You purposefully asked a specific criteria DC would likely have to win by default, even though it's not the better accomplishment.

Sad.

How was DC 2nd best at HW when Ngannou KO'd Stipe in Stipe's very next fight? If Ngannou can beat Stipe while DC's losing to him 2x in a row DC isn't better than Ngannou.

Ngannou was 2nd best at HW and just wasn't getting a title shot cause of the Stipe-DC nonsense. Then he did and proved he was #1.

After Gane obliterate Jon into the morgue no one would even talk about how great Jon is or was, just wait

The guy who had way more title defenses and beat the other guy twice. Knocking him out in the second.

JBJ has a lot of ground to cover to even come close.
If JBJ was to finish Gane, finish S.Pavlovich, finish A.Volkovand, I would say ok yes he's done it.

If Jon fulfills most of his contract extension, maybe.

What's Jones have left, a few fights tops? These crystal ball threads that have gotten so much more popular around here are just so stupid. It is a frankdux thread tho...
