What's your favorite BJJ match?

Roger vs marcus 2

Any Marcelo match (particularly his last run at adcc)

Cobrinha vs Mendes

Rodolfo vs Marcus 2012

Kron vs Gary

Braga Neto vs Galvao

Braga Neto vs Cyborg 2009 and 2010

IMO Braga is one of the biggest wastes of potential - dude could have been neck and neck with Rodolfo and Marcus but not as focused and disciplined as he should have been.

Gordon Ryan VS Craig Jones in EBI

Best build up to a fight with out of this world dominance from both guys in the matches before the final

Also with awesome exchanges and a crazy EBI overtime

Buchecha v. Roger 1
There are others that were already stated. But honestly, it's more interesting for me to watch grappling in an MMA context, really opens things up way more. For instance, A. Silva-Sonnen 1 was an incredibly exciting finish. Or Jones vs. Gus 2. Not pure grappling, but really exciting fights.
Same with some of Ronda's stuff. She put on super exciting performances and was able to do stuff you won't see in pure grappling.

Fernando pontes defeating top brazilian competitors one by one with basic collar choke was hilarious. 2001 mundial or brasileiro......

Josh Barnett vs. Andre Galvao
Rafiel Torre vs. Bo Hershberger

it wasn't competitive, but rodolfo vs agazarm was always fun for me to watch. partly because i love rodolfo, partly because i dislike AJ... it's just fun to see.

not a big fan of tonon either, but his match with palhares was glorious.

rafa mendes vs cobrinha at ADCC 2009 has to be the best match i've ever seen, hands down.

First time watching thanks for that.

I woulda said the PJ fight right before was great too, but I guess we can throw Ruotolo vs Tackett in there now

Recency bias but right now I'm split between Kade vs. Tackett and Tye vs. Nolf. The latter for the amazing pace and how game both were to engage the other's game. Tye going for standing TDs without a single guard pull was badass and Nolf entering the tournament in the first place was MFing chingon.

I think seeing the match happen the first time plays a big role. Here are my favorites and I am bias because I saw them as happening or live(In no order):

1.) Kade vs Andrew Tackett

2.) Garry vs Kron

3.) Rodolfo vs Buchecha

*Roger vs Buchecha 2 which was epic but overall the match was not edge of my seat.

Match that really made grappling click for me was seeing Sakuraba vs Carlos Newton in Pride, not BJJ exactly but a real grappling clinic all round
