This feels like a deleted scene to me or something. Harvey Keitel's random ass daughter, I mean what's the point? It feels completely out of place.

Someone wanted to smash so gave her a part in the film

And yes, that's rape

Not Harvey Keitel's daughter, it is the daughter of the guy that owns the scrapyard that the Cleaner /Wolf (Keitel's character) uses to get rid of cars and bodies and other things that have become a nuisance.

I think it is suggested that he wants to make sure he is able to continue to do that if her father passes, so he is schmoozing.

Harvey Weinstein/Miramax production. She probably earned that part.

Please watch Pulp fiction before making Pulp fiction threads .

If you watch the movie, the scene actually makes sense.

Acura NSX promotion

I always have taken it as a "closure to that narrative" scene, and move on to the next.

This....

ive seen it a million times, these scene is pointless, it would not effect the movie negatively at all if it werent in it
Maybe not but it's closure for that segment of the movie.

It wraps up the apartment murders and the aftermath with the organization's 'cleaner'. It furthers both Jules' and Vincent's character development leading into the diner scene and let's the audience understand their actions better.

I've never understood the dialogue in that scene.
The wolf says "say goodnight raquel". And she should be saying "goodnight". But she says "goodnight Raquel” - echoing her own name, is there something I'm missing??

You've watched it a million times but you still didn't know that wasn't Harvey Keitels daughter?
I mean, it's pretty obvious they were going off to fuck, that never struck you as weird?

It's a reference to the old Vaudeville act, Burns and Allen

Say goodnight, Gracie

Goodnight, Gracie
