Whats the beef between Denny Prokopos & Ryan Hall ?

Eddie mentions to Marcelo in the sparring clip he did not want to drop by the day before because Ryan was there. He said he knows Denny and Ryan hate each other.

Anyone know why?

Rumors were started by 10th planeteers that Hall was ducking Denny, I doubt the two have ever actually spoken to each other.

ive known/trained with Denny for years. He is not a shit talker. pretty impressive considering how young he is and testoterone/bro shit that goes with fighting

ive picked up some of Ryan's tips and use them and run them by Denny.he doesn't mind at all

Don't know about Ryan and Prokopos, but people blow things way out of proportion between him and Eddie. Before the Ultimate Absolute 2 people were asking what he thought of Eddie and he was very respectful. Said something like he's never talked to the guy extensively but he seems like he's probably a cool guy and he just doesn't agree with his techniques.

from what I know Ryan Hall talked shit about 10th planet moves in the triangle dvd which seems to have started the whole thing. Ryan also released his back attack series which has the "Rolling back attack"/"twister roll", in the dvd when demonstrating the technique he refers to using the lockdown when preforming the roll as wacky and unnecessary. Ryans remarks about the lockdown lead eddie bravo to personally respond saying "if you try to do the roll without the lockdown on my guys they will flip it on you." it was clear in eddies response that he was irritated that ryan didn't credit him at all in the dvd he said something like "giving credit is not something ryan is known for."

Eddie bravo said that once ryan hall was offered a superfight with denny by grapplers quest or something and ryan said that denny isn't on his level.

ill try to find eddies actual response it was on his website forum in response to the back attack dvd.

Totally agree. EB quoting Denny's accomplishments compared to Hall's accomplishment doesn't take into the account the level of competition Hall faces. Hall fights the very best on a consistent basis and doesn't get tooled by them when he loses.

EB should not make fun of Hall losing to Leo Vieira of all people.

Tf there's any grappling organization wants to throw some money and match them up in a superfight, i highly doubt Hall would reject it (Money plus publicity).

I think Denny is a legit competitor, but tbh Hall is a notch above him with no disrespect. (but Propokos is still a green blackbelt afterall, i am sure he will improves a lot in near future)

and Eddie comment on Hall is just as ridiculous, Hall got an ADCC bronze medal is a great accomplishment, i doubt Denny can beat Glover.

Last one I've seen them do was this one and Reis won on points (awesome match).

I think Hall beats Propokos, but I think Hall is still a little overrated.

Bravo didn't invent anything from the Twister series. Entries into the Split Scissors / Banana Splits have been in wrestling for decades since it can at the least lead to back points (back exposure on the mat) if not a pin. Wade Schalles was doing split scissors and his innovation of a Spladle (Split-scissors cradle) since the late 1970's.

If Eddie wants to talk about not giving credit, I only have to quote what he wrote in his DeSouza Control intro from his book:

"Like most of the moves in this book, I'm sure there is some official name for the technique, but I never cared to learn it."
