Almost forgotten now... He was really entertaining back in the day - really added a lot to whichever card he was on.

The most legendary fighter with the name Tyson... No doubt.

Holds a win over Edgar which I recall being controversial at the time.

I was sad when Gomi smashed his face off with a haduken, leaving him lying flat on the mat ass up in the air like Justin Bieber at a Diddy party.

Frankie beat Tyson actually. He's probably training the new generation, scaring them with his badonkadonk.

You're right... I completely got that one wrong!

He's only 41 years old. Hit his prime quite young, just like the other Tyson.

I thought he beat Dunham in a close fight as well but it seemed like he started falling off after he was KO'd by Gomi.
Looking at his record, he beat other top LWs like Tibau, Dos Anjos and Aurelio. I must have watched these at the time but can't recall them. Also beat sex offender Hermes Franca, proving he's also a good dude.

Yeah, he put Hermes lights out. When he was in his prime and fighting, he was usually taking the FOTN award.

I’m a follower on instagram.

I don’t know exactly what he’s doing but he seems very happy. He participates in a lot of training/coaching…looks to have a happy little family with a cute baby, and spends a lot of time hunting and out in the woods.

He seems very healthy and happy.

That's good to hear, we can get so caught up on the more miserable outcomes of former cage fighters, that it's very easy to miss it when guys do just fine at acclimating to a regular life after fighting ends.

Selling pics of his Badonkadonk on OF.

Man... I remember when he was going to be the guy at 155.

He was excellent but then dropped off hard towards the end of his UFC tenure.

He's on a sabbatical with Arona, Reljic, Grant, Carwin and Gillespie.
