What is The Moral Story Behind Jack and the Beanstalk

I went to a elementary school play of Jack and the Beanstalk and it got me thinking of what the point of the story is or what it is supposed to be.

Jack trades his cow for some magic beans and then starts ripping off the Giant that live in the clouds and then kills the Giant when the Giant tried to stop him.

I get that Jack and his momma are poor but is Robbing and Killing to get Money what we want to teach are kids. Seems like we can pull that story from schools to me.
 
Jack had a Beanstalk.

Only a child who was raised on Jesus parables would try to think of a moral story of a fairy tale.
