For the record, from my previous post I was a huge Mattingly fan but probably the all-time greatest player to watch play baseball was Pete Rose. Watching that guy play daily you could learn how to play any sport. He is truly an immortal player.

*As far as Pete Rose; its terrible you get so much hate from gambling back then but today you can do drugs, punch people in public, hit and run, fail roid test, etc. All while keeping your job, your name in headlines not for those reasons and still be headed for HoF.
