What happened to Ozzy Dugulubgov

Ozzy was a top contender at WSOF, and was scheduled to fight Justin Gaethje for the title in 2016. He pulled out the day of the fight with an illness, and has never returned to action.

He's only 32 and appears to be quite active on social media, still training with top guys.

Did he formally retire? What's going on?

Going by his Instagram, It appears he runs and coaches his own academy full time in New Jersey. That is time consuming if training other guys. That probably explains his absence from individual competition.

Still odd for a top prospect to retire at 28 years old.

Might be an injury which allows him to train a bit but hasn't healed enough to compete. Happened to one of my coaches, trains all the time and coaches fighters, but had to retire extremely young due to niggling injuries.
