How was he not that great?... He lost a SINGLE fight in his career.
He was 7-1 in the UFC with all but one of those wins being a finish.

Gregor is one of the smarter MMA fighters we've probably ever seen. Realized he wasn't at the level he wanted to be, saw the risk was too much, called it quits with a pretty decent record. Hope the fish are biting.

Kevin Lee had a full camp at Tristar Gym and was very focused. It paid off and made the difference.

Should had taken one year off, and bounced back. But he didn't. It's a personal choice, there is nothing to say about it in particular.

It's a shame, his wrestling background made him an interesting fighter.
