i think players of this generation will usually get devalued a little because the game has become so soft. you cant even look at a player anymore without getting called for a foul. and when you shoot a three it is mandatory you fall down if the defender nicks your wrist. wh lebron is driving, he is built like a football player but the tiniest bit of contact somehow causes that mountain of a man to sprawl all over the floor. he of course isnt the only one, but i think it hurts all the players.
of course it is kind of ironic that michael jordan is the one who kind of started us towards this trend. he wouldnt flop, but he always wanted and usually got a call fouled if he missed. Then Dwyane Wade perfected both as he took whinig and flopping to epic levels.
lets just say lebron wouldnt have but up those same stats in the 80's
