What do countries with the most COVID cases have in common? Right wing "leadership."

They're all headed by right wing morons. Not a coincidence.

For the dumb Muricans reading this, the last two morons are Boris Johnson from the UK (what dumb Muricans call England) and Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil.

EDITED to include Modi from India which is now in the top 5 with the four above.

Haha. Trump particularly looks bad lately, very unhealthy. One thing for sure, Obama would kick his ass in a throw down.

TDS and corona threads exist

Ya, if libz didn't have TDS, then the US, UK, Brazil, and Russia wouldn't be suffering far more preventable deaths than comparable countries.

Jesus Christ is that photo of Trump real? I mean he always looks ridiculous but that is especially bad

Spain, Italy, France, etc.
fuck you.

What they actually have in common is being northern hemisphere.

An example is that a small island nation who has no visitors and who did it mostly right, New zealand, has nearly no cases, while a small island nation who has no visitors and who did it mostly right, Iceland, has a normal european amount of cases.

Covid deaths per capita. Colored by party of governor.

Putin probably isn't an idiot he just doesn't give a shit if his people die.

It has to be photoshopped but it's still hilarious

Those countries are fifth, sixth, and seventh. Ask your mommy what "most" means.

While you're at it ask your mommy to show you a globe and then ask her in what hemisphere Brazil is located.

why is England called the UK? I've always thought England was made up of Wales, Scotland and the slave isle of Ireland put together. The more you know.

You don't get tired of getting KO'd in all the shit threads you make?

What those countries have in common are very large populations. None of them are in the top 10 in per capita cases and UK is the only one that is in the top 10 in deaths per capita.

OMG, US with 330 million people, Russia with 150 million and Brazil with 215 million have more total cases than Belgium with a population under 12 million. That is fucking crazy, thanks for that valuable information.

they have large populations.......................................

per capita deaths, Russia isnt even at the world average.
Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, assorted smaller countries... all much worse than those four countries.

Actually the USA has done a very bad job. We are number 12 (cases per capita) and going to pass both the 11 and 10 spot by tomorrow or the next couple of days. It isn't simply about where we are now but where we are going. Most of those countries' curves are going down while USA has not really shown that to happen yet. We've been plateauing for a long time.

I just don't understand why people here can't admit USA did a bad job in handling this. We objectively handled this worse than most other countries and all the numbers are proof of that.

USA should strive to be better than places like Brazil for christ sake

How about being better than places like Belgium, Spain, Italy, UK, France, Sweden, Ireland, Netherlands? Maybe they should strive to be better than places like Brazil because they've all done significantly worse.

How the shit do "the numbers prove that we objectively handled this worse than most other countries"? The numbers don't show anything like that, and considering it has largely been kept to the one area with the initial outbreak with their piss poor leadership and policies of sending infected people into nursing homes, the rest of the country has done very well and kept the numbers very low. Just NY and NJ make up 42% of the entirely country's deaths.

i would use deaths per capita, as cases per capita is going to be determined by who can afford to test non-critical civilians.
