What are Your Favourite Pride Memories?

Pride showed the humility in loss. The PRIDE in winning. They had close ups on the faces during the staredown, which makes sense because who the fuck cares about the background?

UFC doesn't show the guy on the ground in the same way.

Seeing the guy on the ground is extra motivation, and real.

PRIDE was/is the best we've had for viewing fights.

*Cameras were higher and lower and more involved, positionally speaking. Not the same now.* How you see it makes it more real. UFC sucks at this. I could go on about all of this shit, and if someone wants to pay me, I'm a DM away.

I liked how the crowd only came alive when stuff actually happened, and would be quiet otherwise. It enhanced what was happening. Sometimes you saw a fight like Gomi vs Kawajiri which the crowd was so amped to see, they raged the entire fight.

Was just about to post this… one of my most “holy hell did he just do that???” moment while watching mma… that and Rampage dropping lifeless into the ropes like a Rocky movie..

Kawada came out to award Wanderlei with a trophy and gave a speech to laud him as LHW God while Rampage was still unconcious and bleeding in the ring. THAT is some savage ass shit.

One of my favorite PRIDE memories was when Dan Henderson Knocked out Renzo with an uppercut when he shot in for a takedown, but didnt know he was knocked out and bobble headed him on the ground before going OH SHIT he dead!

Then Ryan (RIP) barked the doctors away and woke Renzo up himself (which should totally not be allowed, but thems the crazy NHB days dawg)

One of my favorite PRIDE memories was when Inoki (RIP) parachuted into the arena, descending from the heavens from whence he was spawned, while the crowd chanted IIIIIIHHHH-Nokee!

I liked anytime Saku or Sudo walked out, you literally never knew wtf they were going to do.
That always added to the anticipation.
