It's satisfying seeing both your favorite fighters win and those who you dislike or not fond of get what they deserve by losing so what's your favorite feel good moment/satisfying wins/title wins for you? this is my list of fighters win that made me feel good, I'll include ones that made me feel good cause they were my favorite ones winning and other ones that also made me feel good watching them lose, which could also make me and you same opinion (or I know some of you could troll me and post that their favorite moment of their fighters winning are the opposite to mine haha)
The ones that made me feel good only cause they were my favorite fighters:
1-Glover Teixeira (Title fight): as much as I love Jan Blachowicz but back in that fight, I liked Glover more so to see him win and complete the fairy tail story of his was a beautiful thing to see, and I placed it at No.1 cause it is by far my favorite one, I literally jumped off my Computer seat and yelled throughout the house that even my mom and sister were like "BE QUIET!" Haha, like how amazing that was back then!
2-Dominick Reyes (Non title fight): Reyes' back was against the wall coming into the against Dustin Jacoby, a lot of people counted him out considering his 4 fight losing streak which had that 1 title loss to Jon that which was a very close fight which many saw was a robbery (including me) but then he went on 3 fight losing streak which were by Knockout losses, and then to finally see him get his hands raised since 2019 was awesome
3-Zhang Weili (Title fight): Given her history with Rose and the troll fans who were attacking her and trolling her and the "Commie" comments everywhere on Social Media and the close 2nd fight that she had with Rose, when Rose was looking to defend her title a second time in her second reign against Carla in a rematch, Rose lost to Carla again (as first time Rose lost to Carla was in 2014 in their TUF tournament which would determine the inaugural champ of the Women's 115 division), and then when Zhang was given another shot at the title against Carla after coming off a KOTY contender against Joanna in a rematch, Zhang easily beat up and submitted Carla in the 2nd round to reclaim the SW title.
4-Belal Muhammad (Title fight): The amount of trolling and denial of Belal's deserved title shot, and being counted out in many fights and Belal keeps proving the doubters wrong again and again and silencing the haters again and again and climbing the rankings (I've no idea the hate he has, and even if he's hated for some reasons, these reasons are very crummy IMO), after many negotiations and Belal waiting his title shot after Colby took his spot back in 2023 to fight Leon for the title first, Belal finally was given his deserved shot after he was on a 10 fight streak and won, A true inspiration. Doubted, trolled, disrespected his entire career, underdog in almost all his fights and now he is the Champ
5-Jorge Masvidal (Non title fight): No disrespect to Ben Askren, that was one of the best KO's in UFC history, and for a guy like Jorge Masvidal who's been in MMA for 16 years, he had an amazing KO that made him rise to UFC stardom so that was feel good moment that had us all on our feet and excited and opened the doors for many people and even to ones who weren't MMA fans to become MMA fans, and personally that was the fight that made me be interested in MMA
And now let's get to satisfying wins about about fighters I disliked and watched them lose
1-Leon Edwards (Title fight): He beat Colby Covington whom is one of the most disliked fighters after brining once again about families coming into the fight and about Leon's father, and had Colby won, Belal wouldn't have got the shot at the title and Colby would've held the division too
2-Stipe Miocic (Title fight): Back when Stipe was one of my favorite fighters and back when I disliked DC for being an Eye-Poker in his rivalry with him, DC got what he deserved for the multiple Eye-Pokes and the intentional cheating against Stipe whom after that made a comeback and went for the body and got the TKO win
3-Magomed Ankalaev (Non title fight): Johnny Walker was disrespectful coming into the fight and that fight had these 2 have animosity between both so for Ankalaev to KO him and finally solidify his spot to fight for the title again was awesome
4-Marlon Moraes (Non title fight): He KO'd Sterling who's one of the most disrespectful fighters and one of the most annoying trash-talkers and KO'd the guy that would later win the title by quitting and go on to be one of the biggest and most annoying trolls in the sport
5-Demetrious johnson (Title fight): Our favorite GOAT and the humble DJ KO'ing Cejudo who's one of the most annoying fighters in MMA, who's a glazer and an annoying troll as well, and talks shit about fighters too and very cocky and arrogant too.
(And also, if some of these disliked fighters lose as well like O'Malley and Merab and Jones, it'll be so satisfying, especially Jon Jones, and BOY, Imagine whoever beats Jon, Ciryl Gane who's one of my favorite fighters gets back that Jon loss by beating the guy that would beat Jon, I will feel like this:
And that's about it, I always thought about making this thread cause I thought it'd be a wholesome thread, now tell me your opinions about your satisfying wins, whether seeing you favorite fighters win and those you dislike lose.
Thoughts?
