Its See No Evil 2006 for me. This movie had disaster written all over it. A wrestler in the lead role, porn director, a plot so old it's insulting and a cast of newcomers. Surprisingly it wasn't all that bad. Many of the horror films from 2005 were awful but this film kicks ass and its definitely worth watching, even if only to witness one of the most bad-ass slasher-antagonist I've ever seen.

Adam sandler movies, Wayans bros movies, jackass movies. Rob Schneider, Chris Farley and David spade movies. A lot of the silly comedies from like 2000s and 90s had bad reviews but I grew up on that shit and I love them.Kingpin, Freddy got fingered, big momma's house, how high, the Friday movies, nutty professor movies, land of the lost. Observe and report, and bad Milo are some newer movies with bad reviews i can think of, actually even they're old as fuck at this point

I just watched Borderlands last week and I enjoyed it very much, they did a great job of recreating the world of Borderlands right down to the tiniest detail, the set pieces, the cars, the costumes, the characters, it felt like the movie really did take place inside the video games

Except for Kevin Hart as Roland, but other than that it was a perfect recreation

First thing come to mind is 80s horror films i'd watch late at night would have 2 out of 4 star ratings on the TV guide but i'd stlil stay up all night and watch and enjoy them

i have to pick my favorite flop/critical disaster: Jo Jo Dancer-Your Life is Calling. The critics tore it to pieces, called it self-indulgent and many other things. It was a semi true bio pic on the life of Richard Pryor. It was a movie that wore it's heart on it's sleeve and that's not always safe to do. It was absolutely hated and sank Pryor's film company. I absolutely loved it and with hindsight? Ya know? I really think Hollywood in those days only wanted one black star and Eddie Murphy was the future, five years earlier, they were all (hollywood, critics and fans) kissing Richard's ass no matter what kind of garbage he put out. His time was simply up, he rarely did standup anymore, his films after that were truly garbage (outside of Harlem Nights which the critics also hated) and he was privately losing a battle with Multiple Sclerosis in those years. But Jo Jo will forever have a spot in my heart, maybe not my favorite Richard movie but it's close to it.

Oliver Stone's Alexander
that was ok, but colin was a little off for the role. I read a review after I saw it and the writer said he couldn't even fill out the costumes properly, that pretty much summed up how miscast he seemed. The movie was ok, the music was good.

oh lord, I remember that being a hit but looking back at it, Richard was just not the same as he was. Wilder Pryor was a magical combo for a couple movies but their time had passed and they lost their edge.

Fans of the game series hated it because it wasn't based on any of the games.
Movie audiences disregarded it as a 'video game movie' which were REALLY bad in that era.
But on its own merrits, as a SciFi film, its really good. And it was the first 100% CGI film with life-like human models, which was remarkable for 2002.

Watched it a few months ago, and I think it holds up.

The first two that always come to mind are Escape from LA and Johnny Mnemonic. They're not masterworks but I always got a kick out of them

Also Saving Silverman is my ATG underrated comedy

Ultimate Cut?
Yup, I also like the Final Cut which wasn't too different from it

that was ok, but colin was a little off for the role. I read a review after I saw it and the writer said he couldn't even fill out the costumes properly, that pretty much summed up how miscast he seemed. The movie was ok, the music was good.
That he was to small you mean?
