2 guys fighting in the street or something and the lucky guy gets the punch in and these are the 2nd and third best MMA fighters in the world or just the ones that chose to fight in the MMA world? Because when I took boxing long time ago, the first thing you learn is to cover up and try bobbing and weaving away from the punches. What I saw was a circus more like it or just crazy guys fighting honestly!

The guys have to do everything, fists, kicks, elbows, transition, clinch, grappling, that explains the tendency to look like shit if you take just one of those things.
Plus its a fight, they got taken by the moment.
But you said one thing true, they behaved like street fighters, cf. Gilbert soccer kick lol.
But thats also why i loved it so much.
No bs, no "suicide war" ala chandler just to make a point, it was just "pure impact", fighting in its essence.
And when it comes to you toping one of those guys in boxing, you absolutely dont know cause precisely you did not witness them in a strictly boxing fight, you saw them during a crazy moment.

I think there are some fights you can just throw out. Yes both guys got tired and were sloppy at points but they both just decided they were going to throw caution to the wind and go.

This fight seemed less about being technical and more about will.
