Dana was very critical of the Ank vs Jan fight, claiming it was anticlimactic and somewhat boring.
Did you think that fight was any different than Ank vs Alex?

I think Ank vs Poatan was better in that neither guy was compromised. Ank's gameplan won the day, had no fear of Poatan whatsoever.

But I wish he would have closed the fight stronger.

Off the top of my head - I enjoyed Jan vs Ank more.

People were way too critical of the fight. It was a solid fight that had its moments.

Ank vs Pereira was more frustrating than anything. I genuinly believe both Ank and Alex are better fighters than what they showed.

Both didn't fully utilize their skills but some matchups just cause that due to the respective style of both fighters. I wouldn't expect a rematch to be a barn burner.

Jan vs Alex was pretty anti climactic. Alex won IMO because Jan "Looked" tired.
Jan vs Ank was only anti climactic because it was a draw.
Ank vs Alex was climactic because despite the impending sense of "Here Comes the BS Decision" we got an honest and fair judgement of the contest.

You think there is no argument that Poatan won the fight? Some people on here are strange with their bias'.

poatan vs ank is better
anka showed his clinch game
tiring poatan and landing strikes

threatening takedowns plus tiring poatan in the clinch
he was faster on the feet too maybe poatan was tired

but its a masterful gameplan he outstriked the striker
because hes a more complete fighter

I think, if you are referring to Ank vs Poatan that it was pretty clearly Ank's fight. It was competitive yes but it was IMO very clear that he won 3 rounds and frankly you can reasonably see 4 rounds. Alex won the first and that was the only clear one for him.

The 5th which was the only other round he earned on 2 scorecards he was still outstruck 23-15 total and 20-14 significant strikes. Anks pressure won the fight. He rocked Alex badly. He neutralized him and outstruck him.

I don't understand the heat Ank vs Jan gets. It wasn't a bad fight.

WTF happened to Jan? He arguably beat both Ank and Alex yet is never spoken about.

I didnt find Ank vs Jan or Ank vs Pereira...exciting but I didn't find them boring either. Pretty decent fights, I enjoyed Ank vs Pereira more, I felt it was pretty technical and had plenty of good moments.

I'm the opposite. I found Ank vs Poatan frustrating. I didn't care you won but watching Alex freeze up and not commit to trying to finish when it was obvious he was down made for a lacklustre fighter. I honestly think Ank hurt him alot more that people realise at the end of the2nd

I think Ank got his respect in the 2nd, I also think Ank is the most defensively sound guy besides Izzy that Poatan has faced and Anks speed advantage seemed to keep Pereira guessing. It was a good fight, not how I expected it to go down, I think Poatan was a little afraid to put things together due to counter strikers and giving up a takedown if he got off balance.

It's why I enjoyed Ank vs Jan over Ank vs Poatan. Ank pushed through the adversity while I feel Poatan excepted the outcome.
