this is the shiit that will always keep mma down.

when a guy can hold for dear life for 5 rds prevent an actual fight and win.

this is just some sad shiit dantas wanted to fight but lost and warren prevented a fight and won. Man fuuck these judges and fuuck mma this shiit has to stop.
 
Joe Warren, technically excellent wrestling, so economical but it's a fight not a cuddlefest. Stalling and lazy strikes to stay busy. Ugh. So frustrating.

Dantas was doing so well against him. But he kept throwing that knee and forgetting to sprawl.
 
It was a good fight and Warren landed nice shots too (knees). It would have been bad if Nah Shon won.

it was a great fight, as warren's always are. some awesome scrambles, and warren landed some huge knees.
 
Translation: "Dantas should have won 50-45 by virtue of being Brazilian."
 
Many times I would agree with you.... but Joe always pushes the pace and it was an awesome ground battle too. Joe also landed some nice knees.
 
Warren fought very well...Dantas also had plenty of opportunities to win. He pretty much got all the same moves he got on Makovsky and Leone. The switch and he even was able to slide into back mount a couple of times and Warren successfully countered and reversed him every time. He even took down Warren. He landed a lot of big strikes. Warren just won the grappling portions of the fight and it was not really from the clinch and the takedowns..he got the better out of the scrambles and transitions..Which was supposed to favor Dantas.
 
I enjoyed the fight a lot.....so I don't care about your crying TS.

that shiit was a disgrace and for those thinkaing this was good well then aslong as we have folks like you applauding this crap mma will will become an underground sport or disappear all together.

So Dantas deserved to win why? If you don't think controlling a fight is a way to win, then get rid of time limits.
 
Didnt think the fight was that bad. Some good scrambles. No issues with the result at all.

This fight was more entertaining than some of Aldos fights, and i hope that you are just drunk..

You act like Warren wasn't trying. He did the best he could. Dantas is no scrub and looked very good off his back and scrambling. Whenever Warren got a good position Dantas slipped out. You acted like he laid on him and didnt move for 25 minutes. There was some stalling but not much for a 5 round fight.

That was an exciting, evenly matched fight. You just wanna see guys like Julian Lane bang.

Only point I thought Warren was outright stalling was the first half of the first round. He proceeded to follow that up with good knees and more effective clinch striking than before.

Other than that he was constantly changing levels, scrambling, fighting for back takes, defending subs then landing short shots, and so on. Dantas had answers for a lot of Warren's offense but Joe was relentless and active.
