Picked up GTA 5 finally.

Failed the tutorial missions several times.

Got control of character. Walked down the street. Saw a prostitute. Took a swing and missed. She ran. I pursued. I punched her unconscious and then stomped on her, and collected a small amount of money. Stole a car and ended up in the middle of nowhere near a lake. Swam out to a boat thinking "there's no way they actually put this in the game..." Stole the boat via swimjacking. Somehow took the boat down some waterfalls. Saw a deer. Attempted to brain the deer with my boat. The boat did not run very well on dry land. Stole cement trucks, plural. Was murdered on the beach minutes later.

Demand for the ripskater best-of thread series has been low so far. I need to rethink my POTWR ambitions.

@Lead or will we even have an election this year?
 
Worked out in the morning before work for the first time in years. Felt good. Will see if I can keep this up without getting too tired at said work during the day. Would be nice to be able to come straight home each day and not 3 days a week feel like I'm losing 2+ hours of home time between lifting and then showering.

I am going to switch to morning gym sessions because the gym I go to is absolutely swamped in the evenings. You have to wait for every bench, every cable machine, every rack. I did this quite consistently for a while. However, once I had to move a workout to the afternoon and my strength levels jumped by a few percent. It was crazy. I had been slowing down in my linear progression, the weights were getting heavier and heavier. Then I moved one session to the afternoon and I smoked those weights.

After years of being ideologically opposed to it I've had to grudgingly get on board with Halloween so will be doling out Cadbury Chocolates and dressing as a Werewolf .

Halloween party with my friends was last Saturday. I was a creepy clown, not the joker variety.

Had to carry a friend's fully unconscious alcohol poisoned idiot of a girlfriend down the stairs and to a car to get her to ER for a nice stomach pump and IV because she got angry her boyfriend told her to stop doing shots after she was already plenty drunk, and then proceeded to do many more shots of fireball. She was having her breathing stop and start, not just the normal puking and pass out in the bathroom, so we took her in.

I really want the rest of the guests reactions as a clown carries a limp girl down the stairs that overlook the living room, out of the house, and shoves her in the back of a beater car. Wife was sober and drove her (and idiot manlet boyfriend who was too weak to lift his 140 pound gf) to ER.

Edit: on war room related topic, we self drove her to the ER because we didn't want to stick her with a 10k ambulance bill if she wasn't actually dying. Her breathing halts then big gasps 30 seconds later and eyes rolling to back of head had us all pretty concerned tho.

He's like 6 foot but super skinny, tried to pick her up but people don't realize just how much more difficult it is to carry a completely limp/unconscious/dead body type rather than someone awake with some rigidity.

So my 5'8" deadlifting self had to save the day. Was more difficult than I would have expected. New respect for firefighters. I was cradling, just tossing her over a shoulder probably would have been easier but didn't want her to puke all over my back.

Can I call someone 4 inches taller than me a manlet in this instance? Please say yes.

Definitely, he's borderline himself and the complete absence of gains is pretty incriminating.
