I have no clue where the dude has been. We've barely seen him since last summer when he fought Whittaker.

Not one single interview, no social media activity. Nowhere to be found and UFC 241 is in less than 5 days!

But hopefully he's somewhere, revitalising himself and praying to gay jesus for another vicious knockout.

At 42 years old, he probably doesn't have much time left at the top. So let's appreciate what will hopefully be another impressive performance and hope for another brutal highlight finish.

What do you mean, just from the top of my head:

- he had his orbital bone broken and had to rehab it
- signed a new UFC deal
- was on a latin game show on telemundo
- was scheduled for a fight or two that got scratched (Jacare) / delayed (Costa) like now we finally get the fight with Costa
- had a publicity stunt with suing of some random goofs that sold 'tainted' vitamins
- he got a new puppy

Lol.. just common sense after reading a bit on the case. The company he sued was based in an apartment and they didn't even hired a lawyer or heck they didn't even show up to face the judge and put up a defense you think those people payed 27 mill or declared bankruptcy and bounced.

Unfortunately bankruptcy doesn’t work that way. If that was the case, everyone would file for bankruptcy to avoid settlement payments.
Also I’m going to assume that supplement company had insurance which then they would pay.

But my point was mostly about the last few weeks since there is a big fight on saturday.

No training footage, no Ariel or UFC interview. Basically no sign of him and we're just a few days from UFC 241.

Interesting read, I wish there was more detail on why Yoel wouldn’t receive a dime if the company files for chapter 11, especially if they’re still operating.

I don't normally checkout social media or news from fighters unless their is an interesting fight coming. The only thing i've heard from him since last year was that game show thing he was doing.

But my point was mainly in the last few weeks because there is an upcoming fight. No training footage, no Ariel or UFC interview. Basically no sign of him and the fight is in a few days.

I don't either, well the only exception is Cain.. I just picked all that info from sherdog threads.

They should slowly start up now with embeddeds, fight week, media day. Kinda hard since both of them aren't native english speakers and tier 3rd string on the card. UFC is scared they both might pop xD and Yolo could very well miss the 186 limit again so overall I understand why the company isn't all in on them.

Good point.

I guess since that fight isn't main or co-main they aren't promoting it as much. The fact that he has missed weight in his last 2 fights probably factors in as well.

Nonetheless, I was expecting to see some activity on his part.
