I've been training for about 2 years now and have just decided to take the next step and start adding Protein Powder and Creatine into my diet. I don't have a ton of money so I was looking at the Body Fortress Products from Walmart for their price and convenience. Any thoughts on the quality of these products for the money?

I know I'm not answering your questions, but if you've been training two years and are just now adding protein, I'm guessing you're "trying to put on muscle." If that's the case, your money can be spent better on other things.

As for the protein, I use it, but I don't use it PWO. Its concentrate instead of isolate so I just use it in my mid-day shakes, but to be honest, I highly doubt the difference would even matter PWO. IMO, their chocolate is second only to possibly evopro.

I would suggest ordering of the internet if possible, you can almost invariably find better quality stuff a lower price than in stores. (Notable exceptions being Sam's/Costco).

great idea to incorporate protein powder into your diet, you should be fine with walmart brands, taste will be the biggest concern
as far as creatine is concerned, make sure its not made in a place like China, from what i have read it seems that creatine from some foreign countries have been known to cause various forms of liver damage...so just look up reviews on the specific product

for just protein i would recommend 100% Whey by Optimum Nutrition
i get my creatine from a pre-workout shake but by itself i here good things about Cell Mass by BSN

Hmm I hear cellmass gives awesome pumps!!

My roommate loves the protein shakes from walmart and has improved greatly in strength and size.
I have used the creatine from walmart and I received no gains from it compared to using cell-tech and Universal creatine chews.

Cell Mass is way overpiced. It is basically just creatine with b vitamins. I would suggest alot of creatines above it.
