I just see Fiziev being a tad better and edging a decision.

Fiziev is bomb but he seemed to wilt a bit as the fight with Green went on whereas Riddel eventually gained a second wind in his fight with Dober.

I think a lot of it has to do with the second Holloway fight*, which was in no way Volk's fault.

He's not my favorite fighter or anywhere close, but I don't dislike him. I just like other FW's more than him, like Max, KZ, Zabit etc.
Did root for Volk against Ortega though.

Volk doesn't judge his own fights. The guy is an incredibly intelligent fighter. That fight was razor close and his ability to adjust mid-fight is why.

Completely agree. It was a very close fight. Yes Holloway won the first 2 rounds, but Volk likely edged rounds 3-5.

I like exciting finishers and he abandoned it. Basically a sellout.

And Australian humor seems to rub me the wrong way because the most of those City Kickboxing guys and their coach are super irritating.

So this guy picked two Australians who are significant favourites and his buddy? Hm sounds tough.

I do think his breakdowns for Fiziev and Riddell wasn't so bad, though I think he probably just picked his buddy at the end of it, but his picks for two Austrailians were purely based on "they are very good" "therefore they will win".
