Thank you Fox for giving us a proper 'primetime' video, without Rogan yelling at us the entire time. This is the best promotional video yet, quickly covering many facets of the the athletes and sport, from their family and backgrounds, to motivation and training regiment.

The card is stacked (billed as best fight card in tv history) and I'm stoked, but that doesn't affect my judgment of the production quality of this video. UFC's work is good, but this is much better. I almost get the feeling that they showed the shot of Rogan leaving his interview and shutting the door as a subliminal message saying ciao ciao Rogan, let us handle narration and video work from here, thanks.

I used to like Primtimes, not so much any more. It has nothing to do with Rogan yelling, the entire layout is just boring now after so many events. The FOX show was fantastic in my opinion, much better than the first one.

I was already pretty excited for this fight. After watching road to the octagon, I got even more pumped. Now I'm really impatient.

I agree primetimes have become pretty generic lately, and would suggest they hire new directors who can somehow make the story better. I think what I liked about this video is that it jumps back and forth more from fight to fight instead of making it obvious blocks, and also I appreciated the nice opening footage and cheesy line about the volcano in Hawai and the streets of Stockton. Better writing.

I think Road to the Octagon was better than the recent prime times as well. You got a pretty good look at the fighters, their backgrounds and what makes them tick. It wasn't just a bunch of mean mugging and guys saying "I'm gonna smash him" and all that other generic stuff we're used to seeing. You got to see BJ open an honest, Diaz chilled and greatful for his shot, and just guys with their families. It was a good change of pace over the typical build of them making these guys into monsters. Good Job.

I thought this special was amazing, especially the Penn/McDonald and Shogun/Gustaffson parts.

exactly

a good change of pace, less TUF like.

I wanted to see more footage of Shogun training. All it shows is Shogun's MMA facility.
