Not good to eat concussive punches like that in sparring. When you're in an actual fight your chin could already be gone.
 
That's his bread & butter. Stay in the pocket, slip incoming jab & launch that right straight.
If you look at Choi's, his head slips a nano second before his counter. Watch his head is still fixed on his opponent. Not an easy thing to do in sparring or fight.
 
It's a psychotic slip tho. He's going inside rather than outside which is the orthodox.

Means his vision and reflexes are abnormally good.

He actually said he had an off day against cub because he saw everything coming in but just couldn't get out of the way. More likely to do with cubs unusual style. But can u imagine if he ill timed that slip against a fighter like Jeremy? Instant lights out

Jeremy isn’t as funky as Cub tho. Cub has a very broken rhythm while Jeremy is easier to predict.
