Everything about that character was perfect as far as I am concerned.

Kilmer of course was locked in an his vocal style was super weird but in a way which made it incredibly distinct.

The dialogue and lines and unique but memorable terminology.
"I'm your Huckleberry"
"Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave."
"Not me, I'm in my prime"

The actor who played Ringo really crushed it in his role and I feel like his performance was crucial in elevating Kilmer. Gotta have thay worth dance partner to sell the rivalry and Michael Beihn did a great job as well.

Kind of crazy to think that pulled off such a classic film with a switch in director midway and supposedly Kurt Russel taking on a lot of director responsibilities to see the project thru.

Quite the cast all around, even the bit parts featured very solid actors BillyBob Thornton, Charlton Heston, Michael Rooker John Corbett, Jason Prisetly, Terry O'Quinn, Frank Stallone

Still quite sad, but considering the state he was in in 2014 with the throat cancer I'm surprised he made it another 11 years. I thought he was a goner for sure. I know it doesn't matter what people look like but he was one of the best looking men to grace our screens. I'm just sorry I chased him off when I met him.

Absolutely great performance

Thos scene just makes me smile.

Also bigwaverider you aren't forgotten and I loved when you turned this into a jones gif

Kilmer ruined it for any actor who wants to play Doc Holiday (or Jim Morrison, for that matter). The best anyone can hope for is 2nd.

I always thought Will Ferrel could have crushed it in a spoof of Jim Morrisson like Walk Hard. Especially 'old' Morrisson. Not just the look but the voice too.

fucker sang those songs in the movie too
I used to talk to Jim on the back of a pizza box with a 2p coin doing Ouija. We even had a password MOJORISING for him.
Yes I know it's been proven to be a trick of the mind but stoner college me was completely invested.

Always got a laugh out of this one by Fallon.

Kilmer was a great talent.
damn, dude was younger than me.

Loved Fallon for all they lip sync battle stuff as well. I can't count how many times I've watched Tom Holland turning Singing in The Rain to Umbrella and his mrs do Bruno Mars. And The Rock doing Taylor Swift.
