Everything about that character was perfect as far as I am concerned.
Kilmer of course was locked in an his vocal style was super weird but in a way which made it incredibly distinct.
The dialogue and lines and unique but memorable terminology.
"I'm your Huckleberry"
"Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave."
"Not me, I'm in my prime"
The actor who played Ringo really crushed it in his role and I feel like his performance was crucial in elevating Kilmer. Gotta have thay worth dance partner to sell the rivalry and Michael Beihn did a great job as well.
Kind of crazy to think that pulled off such a classic film with a switch in director midway and supposedly Kurt Russel taking on a lot of director responsibilities to see the project thru.
Quite the cast all around, even the bit parts featured very solid actors BillyBob Thornton, Charlton Heston, Michael Rooker John Corbett, Jason Prisetly, Terry O'Quinn, Frank Stallone
