Just saw it on newsfeed. My old BJJ / Judo instructor while he was still at Pablo Popovitch's school. Good luck Vagner!!! At work, no source. Sorry!

ossssss

Yes....read this yesterday.

Surprised he got the call back after his last fight with Brookins. Looks like he won a few on the regional circuit. Ellenberger is coming off a long layoff, so Vagner has a shot to win.

A lot of guys floating around at 155 that the UFC could have signed...

Ronys Torres
Lowen Tynanes
Gilbert Burns
Islam Makhachev
Marcus Edwards
Mansour Barnaoui
Scott Holtzman

HOW DARE YOU TS.
How dare you

But really, Vagner seemed like a nice guy. Glad hes getting a second shot

Yeah I don't check the forums too often and didn't see it on the frontpage, so I was just trying to share hehe.

They should bring brookins back only lost to very good guys in the UFC. Always liked him. His KO of Rocha was nice.

Holy shit that is crazy. He beat Michael Johnson (who's looking very good right now) at LW. I would think he would be skinny as shit at FlW, he always seemed kind of tall to me for the lighter divisions.

Rocha is a gamer. Fought Cowboy Cerrone on his debut on one week notice, made it to decision. Now he's stepping up against Ellenberger.

You do realize this is against Jake Ellenberger's brother, Joe, right?

Definitely props to Rocha for stepping up and fighting Cerrone. He definitely showed his toughness that night.

All I can remember about the guy is him getting stuffed, reversed and KO'd by Jonathan Brookins all in a matter of like 15 seconds.

True true. Jake Ellenberger did fight a Rocha. Carlos Eduardo Rocha, if I reclal right.

How the hell did he make it to a decision against Cerrone again? I remember thinking that Rocha had some of the worst striking i've ever seen during his UFC run.

He is tough, Cerrone landed a ufc record 49 leg kicks on him but he made it.

It's also because once he realized he couldn't hold Cowboy down he did a pretty decent job of focusing surviving. It ain't the same as a guy like Barboza who was trying to win and take Cowboys head off you know.
