Usyk semi-regularly trains in judo, wrestling, sambo and a bit of jiu jitsu. in another time, another life, i think he couldve become a very successful MMA heavyweight. i dont think Jake Paul is serious about this. but Usyk is haha

I'm reasonably sure that Usyk trained with Lomachenko as they were amateurs and on the rise. If that is correct then he likely also did a bunch of cross training like Loma in efforts to gain advantageous footwork and full body control and coordination.


Usyk is one of a small handful of boxers who actually might posses some of the basic fundamentals that would result in potentially having success at crossing over to mma.
