Usman claimed on Rogan's he walks down stairs BACKWARDS because his knees are so bad yet he can go through gruelling fight camps and fights themselves with ZERO knee injuries.

Also none of his opponents seem to aim for his 'fragile, failing' knees, strange.

If your a coach and the word is out the opponent has bad knees the game plan would be to go after them constantly.

How is targeting his knees going to help?

You really don't want to land a kick right on the kneecap.

If you can land on the back of the knee that will hurt them and could even give them a temporary case of dropfoot (like what happened to Jimmy Crute against Anthony Smith). However it will hurt them whether they have bad knee cartilage or not.

There aren't really techniques that would specifically let you capitalize on bad knee cartilage
