What would Usmans road to 185 belt look like if he decided to go that route ? Usman could potentially fight someone top 5 like Whittaker, Cannonier, Vettori, and then for the belt. Usman is ranked #1 at welterweight so he could potentially bypass the top 10 guys and get a title shot within 1-2 wins.

His has confidence looked pretty mixed in his last 2 fights so I wouldn’t really give him much of a shot.

If he can look like he did against Burns I’d like his chances against Allen and Vettori but I think anybody ranked above those guys (Imavov too) would still be too much for him. Cannonier at any stage of Usman’s career is too much.

I highly doubt it. Too old, probably gives up too much size for the type of style he needs to use. Knees too rickety.

I like Usman, but the decline has begun. I don't see any possibility of him winning the MW belt.

No chance he's winning the belt but I 100 percent believe he can beat at least a few top10 MWs

True but I just feel Usman is rather small for 185. Dricus is a pretty big MW
The craziest thing is all three were former welterweights lol. Rob, DDP and Usman.
There's actually quite a few guys at middleweight who used to fight at welterweight.

Allen, Vettori, Strickland, Curtis, Khamzat, Imavov and Borralho just to name the rest in the rankings.
So in total there's eight ranked guys who were former welterweights and plus the champion DDP who also competed at welterweight back in KSW.

Usman isn't beating any top 5 MWs. He had a great run, but his championship days are behind him.

He'd probably lose 50-45 to Strickland at this point.
