Uppercut Bag Recommendations?

I am looking to purchase a bag that can be used for uppercuts (and, ideally, hooks as well). I have seen some of the round/oval shaped bags that seem like they would do the trick. Does anyone have experience using these types of bags? Are there any recommendations for the best equipment to train the types of punches that shouldn't be performed on a regular heavy bag?

We have an Everlast Wrecking Ball, and I really like it--you can hit it from just about any angle. It's also lasted us a really long time, and hasn't had any issues with the filling the way most Everlast bags do.

+1 for a wrecking ball heavy bag. Probably the most versatile bag of the bunch. You can work straight/hooks/uppercuts/movement/slipping.

Any commentary on the wrecking balls from Everlast vs. Cleto Reyes vs. others?

We have a couple of the Title ones at my gym. I like them a lot. Very nice to hit. No hard spots.

Title Gel heavy bags are one of the nicest bags I've ever used. I have a Twins Special teardrop bag and I think Title actually manufactured it. It's an amazing bag.

I've used all 3 of these and own the Reyes. The Title is the best of the bunch and can be bought for the lowest price if you catch a sale. The Everlast is actually really nice, and the Reyes is overpriced with an unpleasant vinyl faux leather. Its held up well though, but the oval style is better than a round one for this type of bag.

We've had a Title wrecking ball at the gym for years. Excellent bag for the price, I would recommend it.

That's very helpful, thanks. Can you elaborate on why the oval shape is better than the round one? I think the Reyes is roughly 22" x 22" whereas the Title is 25" x 30". Maybe the smaller size of the Reyes plays a part in your preference for the oval shape?
