First fight. That might be the most devastating upkick KO I've ever seen. Straight to sleep. Looked almost like an axe kick from bottom

Fighters might be worried about getting DQ'd since all it takes is 1 knee slightly touching the ground to completely invalidate the kick. There's also the fact that the version with the heel takes more leg dexterity than the average UFC fighter possesses.View attachment 1116068

The technique in the video is using the back of the heel in an axe kick motion, which is far more devastating, I’m suprised we don’t see it more than we do
you kinda said it though, it is rare to be upkicked KO'd. upkicks miss by inches because it's easy to see or feel it coming.I'm honestly shocked we don't see more upkick KOs because there's so many times when a guy is looking to enter the guard from standing and the heels are flying past his chin by inches. But everyone always seems so confident that they wont get hit, like it's almost impossible for it to happen.
