Anyone know what happened to any of these people since the documentaries were filmed?

Google is really failing me on this one, and I'm certain there is discussion SOMEWHERE about it.

Also, I'm sure the combined Porn knowledge of the SherBro's will have some answers.

They are two documentaries on the porn industry produced by Rashida Jones.

Both have been on Netflix for years.

The follow certain people for a time, and deal with an aspect of the business.

As some of the stories end in interesting ways (did the country girl really quit and go home?), I was wondering if anyone had information, because search engines just take you to reviews or places to find the documentaries.

I'm sure they all wound up living happily ever after and not regretting their choices.

I'm pretty sure the guy that was producing the amateur stuff is pretty happy with his decisions.
He was doing well enough to help out his mom.

They are not all performers.

Are you sure you’re not looking for the Catalina collection?

All the girls that appeared in it are now doctors, data scientists, and UN advisors.

Pics, Mo Fo!

Two of the things that surprised me were how short the average porn career is (only about 2 or 3 months before they can't find work), and how quickly families find out (about 4 to 6 months).

The documentary did well with film critics, but the porn industry complained it was unfairly represented. They did a follow-up series to try answer the complaints, with each episode covering a different part of the industry

Ep synopsis:

1: Producer perspective - Basically, the higher production value stuff is no longer tenable due to amateurs & webcams. One of the Producers/Directors is trying to find a new career.

2. Absolutely nothing to do with Porn. This episode was filler about reality stars and dating apps.

3. How new girls often dive into drugs and/or let their health go.

4. What the job is really like for dudes on camera (spoiler: it did not look fun)

5. Webcam girls & the men that invest in them emotionally and financially.

6. Nothing to do with Porn. People recording crimes instead of calling police.

The stories reminded me of Kitchen Nightmares (joke opportunity for you here), and I wanted to know if they had the same kind of updates.

Is this a relatively recent phenomenon? Jenna Jameson for example performed porn for 9 or more years.
