Do you believe UFC President Dana White? I'm not sure about this one. Undisputed featherweight champion Conor McGregor might feel differently.

They also didn't know about Vitor's positive drug test.

They love and need each other, it's just a matter of who needs who more. This is big business 101 but the contracts will be negotiated and Conor will receive his truckloads of cash and in turn the UFC will receive those sweet numbers it craves

Of course there's tension, that's par for the course in any business transactions. Sherdoggers (and fat basement dwellers like FrontRowBrian) don't seem to understand that just because two people are looking out for their own interests and are willing to defend it, doesn't mean there's a problem.

Peoples inability to understand this Is a symptom of being meek their entire lives.

I thought when he was doing that money gesture and the middle fingers that it was directed towards the Zuffa boys, but I guess it wasn't. I don't know I voted no because Dana is so full of crap but who knows. Eventually I'm sure they'll have a falling out because they're not gonna want to pay him what he's worth in the long run. But any poll that asks "do you believe Dana White about...." I'm gonna answer no.

Is the idea that conor wants to vacate the belt to move up to 155. I don't see why Dana would care he already told him he would get a shot at the belt if he moved up.

What rift why would there be a rift. They're making each other a lot of money

Conor now is the president of the UFC
Dana White is just Conor's shoe shiner.

Conor now stands at the podium when he talks while Dana White sits down and listens.

Why would there be any reason to doubt Dana on this? McGregor makes the UFC shit tons of money.

Wouldn't put it past the rumor mill to pump out bullshit

Can't imagine Dana would confirm it if it was true -- such a thing would certainly be best handled behind closed doors, as long as possible anyway.

Where did this stupid idea come from? is there a source or have either parties said anything odd?

Conor loves his situation and the UFC/Dana loves Conor.

Conor was overjoyed and thanking the UFC and all they done for him during the post fight speech and the press conference.

That didn't sound like any tension between the relationship to me. Fan made rumors are so off base lol.

UFC is about to get pretty salty with the numbers Conor will demand, that one punch made him a ton of money

Dana gets a boner every time someone mentions Conor. There is no rift.

What exactly is supposed to be the "issue" here? I've seen vague references to Frank or Lorenzo Fertita "angrily slamming the belt down" the moment Conor won, now talk of a rift between Conor and Dana... what's at the root of the supposed rift?

At any rate, Conor just made the UFC a shitload of money with last night's card, has made them a shitload of money previously and will continue to make them a shitload of money in the future, so I see no reason why there would be anything other than the normal contract negotiation tension between the parties.

This shit literally comes from retards online "analyzing" a Fertitta jumping up in excitement when a 13 second KO happened. So stupid

This wouldn't be the first time Conor has dissed the UFC in the media. When he won the fight against Mendes he refused to wear Reebok gear, plainly throwing those rags to his corner man instead of donning them like Dana wanted, live on TV for all to see. Dana would rather keep this dirty laundry behind closed doors, but Conor Mc won't let him.
