This is where I'd say most people discovered that Colby is legit. He proved it again vs Lawler.

rewatched this fight the other day, the greasing accusations are not completely unreasonable.
The ay RDA got out of certain situations was weird.
All in all, a boring fight that was crazy at the same time.

RDA should’ve used his offensive wrestling sooner. It was a competitive fight when he started looking to take Colby down.

{<huh}
It was because he never even utilize it that he was able to catch Colby off guard with those takedowns......
NOONE! I SAID, NOONE! NOT EVEN COLBY WOULD THINK RDA WOULD SHOOT IN THE 4th!

the look of ralphy dos nachos after being melted

I actually enjoyed the fight -- I was impressed with Colby being able to stifle RDA's offense. I did feel it to be more competitive than how most others describe in though -- RDA had some good offense in my opinion. I can't remember if I had it 3-2 or 4-1 for Colby, but I remember RDA doing better than I thought he would.

He got taken down by a LW multiple times, Usman is gonna rape this snowflake.

Rewatched the first round and it was all RDA. But if I recall right he did get a bit tired in the later rounds. Colby's greatest asset is that he never gets really tired.

I re watched both fighters against those dos anjos ...and colby is clearly the better fighter...just being objective...Usman will have his moments ..but colby will wear him down with pace.

Excellent performance by Colby. People forget RDA had a lot of momentum going into this fight.

I don't knowif I'd call that 'melted'. Colby went to war with a guy who fought at a weight class lower than him.

You can’t discredit a guy because he’s coming up from a lower weight class. I mean Pettis ko’d Wonderboy cold.
Besides RDA was on a 3 fight win streak at 170 coming into this fight, and after his Lawler win everybody was saying he was gonna expose Colby and finish him. Colby melted him you could tell RDA didn’t think he’d be as good as he was.

that's so disingenuous. If you're ranked at that weight class, that's the weight you are. To pretend RDA was significantly smaller is so biased.

And Lawler, a former champion, got tooled by that very same guy.

Pettis did KO Wonderboy but even in a rematch I'd still pick Wonderboy to beat Pettis. That was one hell of a shot but I'd wager Pettis would not land it again. He was getting pieced up before that punch. Colby is a hell of a wrestler and he still probably had the weight advantage at fight time and was able to keep RDA against the fence for a decent portion of the fight.

I don't think it is biased at all. Colby's still quite a bit bigger than RDA who did pack on muscle the right way but the fact is still the same, he went up a weight class and is fighting guys heavier than he. Instead of thinking it is bias perhaps just look at the facts?

To be fair, Robbie had a torn ACL. I'd pick Robbie to beat RDA in a potential rematch.

I just rewatched it not long lol. Rda did put a fight but he was too small for Chaos.

Dos Anjos and Lawler have made Covington look like a former champion world beater... See how he does vs the real deal...

Colby top control looked pretty weak against RDA, he only thew 14 ground strikes, while Usman threw 184 against RDA.
