Virtually every card there is a fighter who beats the odds. Which fighter do you think is most likely to this card? This week to try to make it more interesting. Getting it wrong for anyone keeping track is just a loss. -1. But to entice people with the incentive to pick bigger dogs for each + 100 beyond the first the picks are worth an extra win (point). I just listed the point values instead of the odds.

Alex Pereira +198 (1 point) vs. Magomed Ankalaev -250
Cory Sandhagen +310 (3 point) vs. Merab Dvalishvili -420
Khalil Rountree Jr. +158 (1 point) vs. Jiří Prochazka -196
Josh Emmett +360 (3 point) vs. Youssef Zalal -500
Abus Magomedov +194 (1 point) vs. Joe Pyfer -245
Treston Vines +880 (8 point) vs. Ateba Gautier -1800
Andre Muniz +225 (2point) vs. Edmen Shahbazyan -290
Chris Gutierrez +320 (3 point) vs. Farid Basharat -430
Yoo Joo-sang +138 (1 point) vs. Daniel Santos -170
Yana Santos +160 (1 point) vs. Macy Chiasson -200
Jakub Wiklacz +240 (2 point) vs. Patchy Mix -310
Nikolay Veretennikov +235 (2 point) vs. Punahele Soriano -300
Ramiz Brahimaj +235 (2 point) vs. Austin Vanderford -300
Brogan Walker +440 (4 point) vs. Veronica Hardy -650

Another loss for me puts me at 16-16, knew I should have gone with magny. This week I’m going to go with Abus.

Shoutout to last cards winners @rollthedice @mkess101 @FEDORFAN44 @Croton @ChrisBenoit @blunttruth

Alex
Abus
Muniz
brahimaj
I feel very sold with Alex and abus. Muniz and brahimaj are up in the air. I also feel like wiklacz is a live dog. Patchy is a super rough fight for him though. I hope emmett beats zalal but have a feeling he is going to pick at Josh from range and avoid exchanges. If zalal wins this he needs a decent step up against someone like sterling or Jean Silva. He has looked very good since returning to the ufc but the kattar fight should've been his coming out party and he somehow dominated the fight while damaging his hype by running in the 3rd round. Emmett will try to bring the fight to zalal but is going to have trouble finding him in one spot for long

My boy Cory is LIVE here. Nobody giving him a chance but he's gonna make this a dogfight, I'm telling ya.

But...my official pick is Rountree. Jiri is awesome and wild and one of the most fun guys to watch. But part of being that guy is putting himself in harm's way. And Khalil is a seasoned vet with power that can make him pay for that. Khalil also has good leg kicks, and Jiri doesn't seem to defend them at all.

You take that back!

Man it hurts, I love Jiri but I'm literally at the airport right now waiting to fly to Vegas and I will have $ on Rountree ML and KO. I can't let emotions factor into analysis when I put real $ on the line.

I've had to ask myself a lot this week if I'm letting my fandom of Cory cloud my judgment. Merab is exactly what his nickname says, but imo styles make fights and Cory is his toughest matchup at 135.

Going with Abus

Most likely is Yoo Joo-Sang. I think Emmett is very possible, Poatan of course, and Wiklacz if Patchy shows up looking like he did last time.

Bunch of live dogs today, I'm taking the first one I'm betting on.
Give me Ramiz Brahimaj!
