I'm sure i wont be alone in wanting to know this....

IF the main event is cancelled, does anyone know if the UFC have an official refund policy?

IF the Aldo/Mcgregor fight is moved to September, will the tickets be transferred to that event?

anyone have experience with this?

In the fine print you will read

*card subject to change*

That is all

When purchasing a ticket or on the ticket, there is a "fight card subject to change" disclaimer. No refunds for events unless they are entirely cancelled.

Anyone stupid enough to buy a ticket to watch Aldo fight expecting to see him show up on the scheduled date deserves their fate.

UFC 149 that is all. Also conveniently suppose to have been headlined by Aldo.

conveniently? splain.

the only event I know of that was cancelled was when Hendo backed out late against Jones.

That was UFC 151 which was the original cancelled UFC.

UFC 149 (the Calgary card) literally had every original fight on the fight card change and sadly that card sold out within 10 mins I believe and broke the Calgary Saddledome's gate record but by fight week most people were looking for refunds. Then on top of that it ended up having possibly the biggest turd of a main card in modern UFC history.

I was among the fortunate that got to see a main event of Rampage vs Matt freaking Hammil.

The show must go on.

i understand the "card subject to change" thing

but i heard that if the main event gets cancelled you can claim for a refund?

So true...I was there for the card. The prelims were excellent, and the main card was a snoozefest.

It depends on where the fight is. Some jurisdictions have a law that tickets must be refunded if the main event changes within a certain amount of time before an event. Nevada had such a law. I believe California does also.

The purpose of the law is to avoid shady promoters promising an event they know they can't deliver and then changing it last minute. Therefore the law is more likely to exist in places where lots of fight cards happen. That law does not exist where I live. I don't know where this particular event is talking place.

Came here to say this.

UFC 149 was another card Aldo pulled out of with injury, wasn't it?

I wouldn't put the money in to seeing a fight live when the regional shows are so cheap. I'd be pissed as fuck if I bought a ticket and would never buy one again if this happened.
