Another big step up in competition like when Hardy fought Volkov, who he didn't actually look to bad against.

It'll be great for Hardy to be fighting some decent guys, he can't fight cans forever. I figure Tybura over Hardy is the biggest lock of the night, but it's a great fight to open the main card.

Hardy doesn't seem to have a lot of power for a HW either, his power seems like an exaggeration to me. Win or lose, Hardy vs Arlovski seems like the fight to make down the road.

Hardy is a beast in the first round. All it takes is one shot and he has a good chance of landing it. I'm picking Hardy to win but if he can't get the knockout he's going to completely gas out and won't make it to the final bell.

Tybura has only been stopped once in the first though and that was against Sakai, who's better than Greg.

+100 on Tybura seems a very good bet, it is heavyweight so anything can happen but I was expecting -200.

Have you ever seen Tybura "beat up" anybody badly ?

He was beating the Black Beast until he wasn't,,, but beating him up? No. I was there live in Austin for that one Bro...!!!!!

Tybura is a logical step up for Hardy, but the only fireworks we will see are going to come from Hardy, and only then if Tybura can't implement his game plan of wearing Hardy down with non lethal grappling.

its not opening the main card but ok--and yeah the thing about hardy is that he is fresh in the game--so he can improve every fight---hard fight to pick here but whatever you say

i picked on tybura too.... this fighter is underatted and now in his prime

I have no idea why Hardy is actually the favourite. Might stick some cash on Tybura actually.
Teammates can be full of shit, but everyone that trains with him says that he is an absolute monster in the gym, who just has to learn to transfer all of those things into the actual fight, and fix some of the medical stuff around his breathing, which apparently they're making a little progress with in camp.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but word around town is that he can do absolutely anything you need to do in MMA, he just hasn't adjusted all of it into actually fighting, and that that is really taxing on his gas tank.

I have no real prediction for this fight, but if he wins, I think we've got to accept that he is a legit project who may actually contend someday.

There were many pickems for me on this card. And I'm not even remotely comfortable with my picks. But, I had to make one. I went with Hardy today.

It pains me to say it but Hardy has come a long way.
In his first fights he was just bullrushing with no technique.
Then he changed completely and became a basic and boring but disciplined point figther.
In his last fight he seemed to have found back his aggression, but now with decent technique.

So not an easy fight at all for Tybura against a gigantic HW who is long, quite fast, cautious and occasionaly powerful.

I've tybura to get a gassed hardy out of there in the 3rd via ground and pound
