Media Tybura accepts Aspinall's "call-out"

Great matchup, if the knee is not 100% ready for grappling, better it fails with someone like Tybura instead of Blaydes or Jones.

Should be a good fight. Tybura gets no respect. Hes beaten alot of really good fighters and he’s think aspinall is severely overrated on here.
I’d take tybura as the dog grinding aspinall out.

Maybe Aspinall doesn't have total faith in his recovery if this is the fight he's gunning for.

Good fight to return to. We'll get to see how the knee holds up.

If Aspinall is healthy, he's going to absolutely run through Tybura.

Who would you rather he fights?

Tybura is a good test both standing and on the ground. It isn't like they're going to give him the opportunity to fight Blaydes again right off the bat.

Pavlovich and Blaydes are booked.

Gane just lost and Aspinall would molest him on the ground anyway. Same with Tuivasa.

Lewis is on a big losing streak, just got mauled by Spivak who Aspinall finished in seconds.

He already murked Volkov, Spivak.

It's slim pickings. Tybura is 7-1 in his last 8 fights. Either you are underrating him here or heavyweight sucks worse than even I thought.

Aspinall seemed very confident in his convalescence on the MMA hour today. I'm not sure if the knee is as good as he claims, but I think we'll be seeing him fight again, sooner rather than later. He's emphasized the knee has always been problematic for him, even during run.

Personally, I think he's going to run through Tybura inside a round if this happens.

Good matchup. Tybura is a gatekeeper. He completely derailed Spivak and Romanov when people were calling them future contenders<Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

No idea how Tybura won his last 2 fights, both seemed clear draws to me.

Sensible call-out. Tybura is the most highly-ranked guy below Aspinall coming off a win that he hasn't already beaten and who isn't already booked for a fight. The guy is 7-1 in his last eight bouts and his only loss in that run was dropping a competitive Decision to Volkov. Tybura doesn't cut a particularly impressive figure and doesn't fight in a flashy manner anymore, but he has quietly been building a nice head of steam in the division over the last three years. He is very much a consistent, well-rounded workman who can test you everywhere.

Tom hasn't fought him yet, wants to test his knee against someone who isn't an absolute killer but will still serve to boost his stock with a W, and Tybura gets a well-deserved step up against a Top 5 name given his momentum. It's win-win for everyone.

I the knee is good, Tybura gets finished in 3 imo.

Tibura is a pretty good fighter, he's got decent wrestling and good cardio.
