Two Questions about UFC PPV Intro Music

Happy New Years Eve, Sherbros!

I hope everybody here has a good New Year, and for those in time zones where it's already 2022, Happy New Year!

My first question about UFC PPV intro music is whether "Face The Pain" is still played. I watch some UFC fights from time to time, but I no longer watch events in their entirety so I don't know if it's still their go-to or not.

Second question is, if "Face The Pain" is still the intro, do you like it? And if not, which would you rather hear instead? I remember reading many people's opinions on here who say that they hate the song, but I've never read anybody's thoughts on what they would replace the song with.

(btw, I love "Face The Pain". I still like to listen to it sometimes when I work out)

Its usually some shit with clapping, a lot of "ooooh ooooh" and a woman singing about how shes climbing a mountain or something now.

They recently changed it to This Charming Man by The Smiths. It's accompanied by a montage of Dana driving around UFC fighters in his Beamer.

I sent an email to UFC about this, but they didn't respond. I don't think they'll ever get back to me. So what can't be done, I did myself - I put the song on on youtube before every PPV. Then I slip away into my fandom.

Face the pain song always reminds me of BJ Penn vs Joe Stevenson in Black/White. MMA was more badass back then when more fighters were brave enough to stand and bang.
