Doing gi and no-gi BJJ, looking for minimum hassle earguards.
Cliff Keen tornado seems to have the best reviews on here and in the grappling forums, but CK just released a different version called the twister.

So, any opinions/ideas?
I'm interested in something that will get in my way as little as possible (mainly not shift while I'm grappling), while giving reasonable ear protection.

I'm not sure what the advantages of dual vs. single strap construction is.
Many Thanks in advance

I decided to trade up from a pair of CK signatures to Twisters, but ended up sending them back for a pair of tornados because I couldn't get the single strap to stay as stable on my head as the two straps. Perhaps its just my head, but I did spend a couple sessions trying to get the fit just right and couldn't. I do like the tornados a bunch though.

we used the tornado's in wrestling when i was in high school. i really like it. when you wear it during competition you can hear everything as if you weren't wearing headgear. the only thing i hate about the newer headgear is that the velcro straps can sometime scrape you up a bit when they're sticking out.

tornado f5 is imo the best headgear out there. Great fit and very comfortable.

I have The Twister. Extremely comfortable but not exactly forgiving on a training partner. I usually wear my matman instead.
