I'd like to buy Twins gear for my husband, as a surprise, so I cannot ask him. I'm fine with other stuff, but I have no idea which size to pick, when it comes to shin guards. I found a few sites but each of them had a bit different recommendations, and now I'm confused. His height is about 6'2"-6'3", and in my opinion he has rather long legs. At least sometimes it looks like his legs are a bit too long compared to his upperbody. I tried to measure his shins (from below the kneecap to the anklebone) while he was asleep, but once I measured 15" and then 16". His PJ pants didn't help much. Now according to a few charts I have found, that's exactly between L and XL. I just cannot decide. Currently he is using some cheap foam stuff, its shin part is 13" only, I cannot even imagine how he got them, as it kinda fits me and I'm only 5'2"! Generally he doesn't wear anything, because he hates them, but from time to time he has to because of the others. I don't want to buy something too big, which he will hate. But I don't want to buy a too small one, which he cannot use. Is there anyone who can help me out? Where we live no shops carry these, I have to order them from Thailand, so returns would be a PITA. :/

Have you tried Amazon? They generally have tons of great stuff...some locally which can be shipped in a day or two...These guys have some good gear reviews..I believe Alex(the guy in the video) is also 6'3 and tries on a twins in Large... as he says sometimes with Twins and Fairtex it's better to go up a size if you're on the fence.
