Second fight, going in, Royce was 11-0, Ken was 17-3-1.

36 minute official "draw" was a clear win for Ken. On the day of the fight, they put in a 30 minute time-limit and removed judges so a decision = draw. Royian Gracie, the promoter of the fight, yelled at the ref to extend the 30 minute limit "three more minutes" twice. If you watch the fight the only way to score it would be a win for Ken. They carried Royce out of the octagon.

Third fight, 2 minutes, Royce lands a low blow then gets the finish. Whatever, Royce's first real loss was to Ken in their second fight, setting up the rubber match.

CM Punk would beat Prime Royce

Illumnati confirmed:

You seem shocked that the Gracie's were dirty cheating dudes... Royce pissed hot against Matt Hughes as well.

The most distinctive feature of the Royce Gracie of that time... was his haircut.<Arya01>

Got a source for that? What a disgrace to cheat and get steamrolled!

Royce did a lot for the sport.

I have a lot of respect for him.

Here is where he failed in the Sakuraba fight in June of 2007. He fought Hughes May 2006. Apparently his T levels were off the charts for the drug failure. You really think he wasn't in similar shape 12 months prior against Hughes?

Well, considering that he "won" against Sakuraba but couldn't even put up a fight against Hughes, it wouldn't surprise me if he hadn't been juiced 12 months prior.

I wonder if he always used or just amped up the juice for big events, or when people found out how to solve his magic BJJ. It had to be so much pressure being on him, having the weight of Gracie's brand on your shoulder, rather dying than humiliating the fam and being a smaller guy that realized the game was catching up/surpassing.
