This doesn't have an a gothic art direction anything like Bloodborne. What the heck are those tweets on about lol.

Game don't look that great either.

Its not a 'Triple-A' game, or even has a team.
Its a solo developer with a few helping hands.

"Trench Tales is a deeply personal endeavor, one that I’ve been building almost entirely solo. From the very beginning, this project has been 100% community-funded, and I can’t express enough how grateful I am for your support. It’s because of you that I’ve been able to take the leap of leaving my full-time job to focus entirely on this dream.

Every step—registering my company, setting up a tiny office space, and dedicating countless hours to development—has been made possible by your belief in this project. It’s a labor of love, and I’m committed to staying true to my vision and delivering something truly special.

I also believe in keeping the development process as transparent as possible. I’m doing my best to provide stable and regular updates, both through social media and frequent game build updates. This way, you can see the progress as it happens and share your thoughts, helping shape the game alongside me.

Of course, creating a game solo has its challenges. While I’m giving it my all, additional support from the community can make a huge difference. By purchasing a supporter pack, sharing your feedback, or spreading the word, you directly contribute to improving the project. With more resources, I can also collaborate with talented artists to bring even more polish and creativity to the game.

Trench Tales isn’t just a game to me—it’s a journey I’m sharing with all of you. Thank you for being part of it and for helping make Trench Tales the best it can be. Together, we’re creating something truly special."

Hopefully it does work out for the dev.

I'm a solo dev as well these days and have worked as an early design consultant, among other things in games. I know how rough this job can be lol.

This strikes me as something that has a mid level of potential from what I saw so far. Maybe it can evolve into something more. Not really sure what the dev needs to consider this a success though.

Love the atmosphere. Its giving me Death Korps of Krieg vibes.
