I've taken to grabbing those 5 dollar meals from McDonald's and Wendy's when my son's baseball season goes full tilt and I'm at practice more often then not. We've both come to the conclusion that the meals are actually the right size for human consumption and the proportions of the smaller burger actually taste better.

One time I bit into my double cheeseburger at McDonald’s, saw only one patty and returned it to the cashier. She opened it up right in front of me. It WAS a double. Those patties are so fucking small I couldn’t tell I was eating a double.

I do enjoy my McDonald’s though (mostly breakfast). When I do get a burger now it’s a McDouble with a third patty added. It would be cool if the meat to bun ratio was the same as your photo.
