If we are including things like MMO's then I ran a raid guild in both Everquest and WoW. That shit isn't measured in hours played, its measured in days played. Outside of those, probably games that have a long lineage like Elder Scrolls, Diablo, and Fallout.

Excluding multiplayers, I'm not the type to replay games. But the ones I played multiple times are Skyrim, Dragon Age Inquisition, Diablo 3, Star Ocean: The Second Story and Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

I'm the biggest Star Ocean fan out there, and I hate the series is scattered through platforms. I hate exclusivity because of that.

3000 hours in DOTA 2, probably close to as many when it was a WC3 mod

SOCOM 2 has to be pretty close to the 3k number as well. I played it competitively for years. Shame I peaked in competitive multiplayer about 15 years too early

Probably have a few hundred hours between COD: Modern Warfare and MW2

Have a couple hundred hours in Civ5

Played all the way through FFX a couple of times so that has to be a good amount of hours.

I played Final Fantasy XI for a year straight, and I do mean straight. I only left the house one time that whole year and I barely took care of myself at all.

After that you have mobas, League of Legends and HotS which I still play sometimes. Not sure which one has more play time.

After that is probably Dance Dance Revolution, that wasn't so much a game as it was a lifestyle.

Steam says I've played Killing Floor 2 for 324 hours.

Last one is probably Gears of War or Diablo 2, I was something of a force in the online multiplayer back in the day.

Counter Strike - played a ton of this from 1999 to 2003 starting with beta version 0.4
Diablo 2 - played so much of this from 2000-2002
Quake 2 - played so many different multiplayer mods for this, it was my first game I played online, played the fuck out of it from 1998-2000
Doom II - have just played through this so many times over the last 25 years I couldn’t guess how much I’ve played it
COD Black Ops 2 - played this almost 3-5 nights a week online with my brother and some of his friends from 2012-2014.

played them so much on NES as a little kid in the early 90s but it’s impossible to even try to estimate how many hours I would have played them. For all I know it could be more than any of these other games.
