My top 5 favourite big cats in order would have to be...

1. LION. goat big cat. king of the jungle. one of the most ferocious apex predators on land. fends of all big cats, can hunt giraffe, elephant and rhino (some of the biggest land mammals, let alone biggest land animals). and all in all nothing beats a male lions glorious golden mane. (unless its that sub african species which actually have a black mane, but they be bad ass too!!). also has a movie named after it.

2. TIGER. second goat big cat. these get second place because they got multiple species which get much smaller than a average adult male/female lion and on average prime healthy lion would beat average prime healthy tiger. if tigers were the goat big cat, the movie would be called 'THE TIGER KING' instead of 'THE LION KING'. instead when you search up the tiger king, its about a gay guy that owned a exotic animal park in america who got committed of many crimes against animals and trying to kill women.

3. JAGUAR. these mofos are so crazy!! these cats jump into the amazon river and kill black caimon that can get up to 6 metres. they are ruthless mofos and can take on nearly any prey that it faces!

4. COUGAR. well, cougars are awesome. im sure lots of you will put cougars as your number one favourite big cat, but dont get those feline cougars mixed up with the middle aging human females. cougars have been known to take on brown bears and defend their cubs from them too, and they protect their cubs with such ferocity that they dont need to fight to the death. and cougars have one of the longest standing leaps of any cat too! it is rather impressive.

5. CHEETAH. cheetah very fast, vroom vroom. that is all.

so whats your top 5 favourite big cats, and why???

I couldn’t even think of 5. Are there really that many to debate about?

theres quite a few when you look into it.

are we treating the black panther as a leopard/jag?? because if not, then there is one more.
As with everything else, I turned to the matadornetwork for an answer and they said.
There are seven members in the big-cat family: lion, tiger, jaguar, leopard, snow leopard, mainland clouded leopard, and Sunda clouded leopard and all of them are under threat from habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict.

from wiki.

The term "big cat" is typically used to refer to any of the five living members of the genus Panthera, namely the tiger, lion, jaguar, leopard, and snow leopard, as well as the non-pantherine cheetah and cougar, and sometimes the clouded leopard .[1][2] However, only the first 4 of these species are able to roar.

Despite enormous differences in size, various cat species are quite similar in both structure and behaviour, with the exception of the cheetah, which significantly stands out from the other big and small cats. All cats are carnivores and some are efficient apex predators.[3] Their native ranges include the Americas, Africa, and Asia; the leopard's range also extends into Europe, specifically in Russia.

so that mentions 7 is allowed. but i still think differential between jag/leopard and black panther needs to be done, as does differential between tiger species.

Roaming Male lion brothers that have to survive and only have eachother.
