Tony/MJ rematch?

I feel for Tony. I hope he made $$$ on that Gaethje fight, he was a the top of the mountain but never got a clean shot at the champ. For what it's worth I think Khabib would have held Tony down much like Charlie did. I hope we get a vintage Tony in his return... Maybe give him the loser of Dustin/Conner.

How times change :( . I still think he is top3 LW of all time but he was not on Khabib's level, nobody ever was.

as a Tony fan it's time to move on. No need to take any more damage as a gatekeeper. He's been in enough wars. The crazy man who is feared and relentless is fun to watch but a crazy guy who gets manhandled is just pathetic

And to think there is some honor to get your arm snapped on half on live TV? Like wtf. I appreciate tony and I appreciate the madness, but come on dude. Tap. You aren’t gonna win with a broken arm, and you will never be the same after having that arm snapped on half. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone, you’re a professional fighter. I hate watching these guys Kill themselves to avoid defeat, defeat comes for every fighter, unless you play the game perfectly (Khabib) there is no chance you escape the game unbroken. Having Charles break his arm to prove a point that he could keep fighting is awful. Props to tony, but if he wants to continue his career, a broken arm doesn’t help that, conceding defeat is a sign of intelligence, a man knows when he is beaten. Taking unnecessary punishment is ridiculous. This is a sanctioned fight, nobody is fighting to the death, a loss is not the end of the road. A broken arm may be.

Disrespectful? Nah it's called a bounce back fight. One of the few things the sport of boxing does well, is having bounce back fight.

It would be disrespectful to put Tony in there against another killer. Tony/MJ is the perfect fight to see where they both at.
 
He does need a tuneup but fighting someone new would be more interesting
 
MJ has zero momentum so he doesn’t deserve to fight a top 4 guy right now, regardless of the fact that he beat Tony in the past

Let him fight Felder or Hooker, both coming off a loss and think both would be interested to fight Ferguson

Dont forget Cerrone got to fight Ferguson, Gaethje and Conor back to back.
