I don't know. He is basically the king of the dirt sheets and has more or less been doing it longer than anyone else. He probably has more than several thousand people subscribing worldwide. A lot of the content that is out there is free content, but they piggyback off of Meltzer's work.

Even at 3K subscribers x 12.99 a month (price break for longer commitment), that works out to $467K USD per year. That isn't counting any of the other revenue streams (hard copy back issues, other journalism gigs, books, shirts, ad revenue, etc..)

I listened to one of Cornette's podcasts with Meltzer. I get Dave's point. It doesn't matter if some independent wrestling company does dick flips in front of 200 people at the fair.

I just don't like how Meltzer wouldn't stop talking. He kept rambling Cornette would try to talk but Dave was just plowing thru without taking a breath.
